Xiaoming Wang

Xiaoming Wang passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on May 30, 2023 at AdventHealth Hinsdale Hospital. Xiaoming was born in Changchun, Jilin Province in China in 1939 to parents Chunlin Wang and Guirong Zou. Xiaoming is survived by his beloved wife, Dinghua Xuan, his daughter Lei Wang, his son in law, Qing Xu, his granddaughter Isabella Xu. He is also survived by two brothers, three sisters, many nieces and nephews. 

Xiaoming is an accomplished sculptor whose large-scale sculptures and monuments dot the streets of Shanghai, as well as other cities across China. However, Xiaoming’s greatest accomplishment was his family and the 54-year marriage he shared with his wife, Dinghua. Xiaoming will be remembered by all who knew him for his kindness, compassion, selfless love, and the amazing ability to create beauty with his hands.

A private visitation was held at Adolf Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held on June 24, 2023 at 3PM at Hinsdale Chinese Christian Church, 5750 Holmes Ave, Clarendon Hills, IL 60514.
