William J Schuler

William J Schuler of Willowbrook, passed away on November 21, 2021 with his family by his side. Bill was a devoted father, never giving up no matter how many phone calls he had to make or miles he had to travel. Generous in hard times, he always had a comforting hand and sympathetic ear, backed by a godly conviction to stand for what was right. He was the eldest of eight children and a brother to those who never had one. He will be dearly missed while his memory fills the hearts of friends and family.  He is survived by his son James and his siblings Peggy (George) Summins, Jeannie Papacek and Cathie Brechtel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his siblings Barb(Pat) Murray, Rev. Robert Schuler, Betty (Paul) Micek and Mary Jo Schuler. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27,2021 from 10:30am until time of funeral mass at 11:30am in the fireplace room at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 4th and Clay St. Hinsdale. Interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Knights of Columbus, 25 N Cass Ave, Westmont, IL 60559.
