Obituary
Sophie Mineo, a longtime Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills resident passed away on August 15, 2023 at the Burgess Square, Westmont. She was born in Hinsdale on January 15, 1924 to Joseph and Lidia Cozma. Mrs. Mineo was a 40-year clerk at Odegaards in Hinsdale. She is survived by her children James (Linda) Mineo, Jr., Ronald (Harriet Rahn) Mineo, and the late Kathleen Messer. Her grandchildren Denise, Chelee, James Edward, Clinton, Steven, and the late Lewis, and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Mineo and her 5 siblings. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am at Adolf and Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60521. Interment will follow at Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
