Sharon Schipiour

    It is with great sadness that our mother Sharon A. Schipiour, 82, retired High School English teacher, & Counselor passed away Monday December 16, 2024. Born December 29, 1941, in Chicago, IL. Sharon grew up in the Bridgeport neighborhood. She taught High School English and later became a counselor at Tilden High school for 35 years. Her interests were reading, television, Home shopping Network, fine dining, traveling, and many trips to Disney World with her beloved granddaughter Andrea and great granddaughter Myhia.

      Sharon is survived by her two sons Anthony(Laura Fout) Schipiour and Nick Schipiour, granddaughter Andrea Schipiour, great granddaughter Myhia Lichaj, sister Lynda Dillon, brother Warren Mocny, niece Darice Jados, and proceeded in death nephew Michael Mocny. A special dinner will be held in honor of my mother for friends and family at a later date.
