Sandra Lee Timmermann

Sandra Lee Timmermann, nee Hoekstra, age 83, born July 7, 1941 in York, Pennsylvania, beloved wife of Edward Robert Timmermann, died April 4, 2025 at her home in Westmont, Illinois.  She is survived by her two children, Lisa Ann Timmermann and Daniel Robert Timmermann; two grandchildren, Matthew Robert Timmermann and Megan Taylor Blair and husband Bruce Blair; niece Karen Marie Guessford and husband Paul Lee Guessford, Sr.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John Garrett Hoekstra and Elizabeth Marie Hoeh nee Hornsby; sister Patricia Marie Thomas and her husband Russell; niece Barbara Jo Perlman.  

The family are eternally grateful for the kindness, support and compassionate care provided by Sierra during Sandra’s journey and especially Sandra’s final days. We also wish to thank Nurse Cathy, CNA Ida and staff at Angels Grace Hospice for their loving care and support during Sandra’s final days.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 9, 2025 from 3pm to 7pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527. Family and friends will gather on Thursday April 10, 2025 for a 10am funeral service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Clarendon Hills Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be offered to Zion Lutheran Church, 204 S. Grant St., Hinsdale, Il 60521 (Cemetery fund), or Angels for Hospice Charities, 2430 N. Central Park Ave, Chicago, IL 60647.
