Sally Powers Pelling, age 72, born October 6, 1951, at rest June 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Loving wife of John B. Pelling, Jr for 51 years. Devoted mother of John (Erin) Pelling, Chris (Beth) Pelling, Brian (Lori) Pelling, and Katy (Brian) LaCrosse.

Cherished grandma Sally of Burton, Bear, Georgie, Addy, Josh, Emmy, Charlie, Mia, Ashley, Layne, and Ally.

Dear sister of Ron (Marianne) Powers and Kathy (Don) Fox. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. George Powers, Jr. and Weeta Powers and her sister Betty Powers.

Sally was a beautiful angel God placed on this earth. She was a friend to all who brightened the room with her smile. Sally attended Streator High School where she was the Cheerleader Captain and Homecoming Queen. She was Cheerleader Captain at Northwestern and MVP of the swim team. Sally was an Illinois State Diving Champ and Nationally Ranked 9th in Nation Diving. She was an avid tennis and golf player and enjoyed her time at Ruth Lake Country Club, Hinsdale Golf Club, and Island Country Club in Marco Island. Sally was an accomplished Real Estate Broker for 30 years.

Visitation Thursday June 13th from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home 7000 S. Madison Street, Willowbrook. Family and friends will meet on Friday June 14th for Mass 10:00 am at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church 306 W. Fourth Street Hinsdale. Services will conclude at the church.
