Robert F. Clabots

Transitioned to Grace with dignity on Monday, October 14, 2024, surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his loving wife Nancy (nee Picucci) of 39 years and their children, Caitlin and Sean.   His children from his first marriage to JoAnn (nee Sbabo) include Robert (Jackie), Christa (Daniel) McCarthy, and Cynthia (Matthew) Ciardullo were also with him.  Through our deep faith, we believe that he was accepted into Eternal Life by his wonderful Parents Sylvia and Robert; Sister, Roberta Anderson; Niece, Kyle Anderson and Nephew, Billy Anderson.  His brothers-in-law, William Anderson and David Nenn have already preceded him.  His surviving family includes his dear sisters, MaryGale (Frank) Opalecky and Carol (David) Nenn.  He has eight beloved grandchildren, Cassondra White, Matthew Ciardullo, Benjamin and Alexander Clabots, Abigail and Madeleine McCarthy, Savannah Ciardullo, and Chole Oliver.  He had many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Mr. Clabots is a US Army Veteran who served bravely in the Vietnam War and was a devoted fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago White Sox, and a Star Trek Enthusiast.  Live long and prosper Pop!

A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 9:30am until time of funeral mass 10:30am at Our Lady of Mercy, 701 Eola Rd, Aurora, IL 60504
