Reginald Louis Tyler, 70, was born to the union of Chalmers and Sadie Tyler in Chicago, Illinois. He was the fifth child and second eldest son of this union. He graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1971. Reginald maintained a love for learning and pursued higher education and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Reginald had various employment opportunities and worked for Firestone as a teenager. As an adult, he worked for the Model Cities Program in the Woodlawn Community in Chicago, and he also worked as a paralegal.
He loved to have a good time. He was known as a great dancer and his love of music was made evident when he hit the dance floor.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: three children: Veronica, Reggie, and Melvin; four sisters, Jacqueline, Carolyn, Anita, Vanessa (Rodney Sr.); two brothers, Levi and Ronald; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Reginald was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Chalmers and Anthony.
