Patricia "Patsy" Jozwiak

Patricia "Patsy" Jozwiak of Chicago passed away on August 30, 2022. Patsy led a beautiful life.  She was born and raised in the Portage Park neighborhood of Chicago, attending Portage Park Grade School and Alvernia High School. She was employed for many years by Sears Roebuck. Patsy was very strong in her faith. She was kind and generous to all who knew her. She was very active with her church, St. Bartholomew, where she was an active member of her parish for 70 years.  She loved to volunteer for church activities, and served on the Women’s Guild.

One of Patsy‘s greatest passions was spending time with her family. She had a very close relationship with her two nieces, Lisa and Gina. She was a second mother to each of them. She was very passionate about animals. Patsy was very loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Loving aunt of Lisa (Alan) Dooley, Gina (Bill) Lowery, Ellen (Brad) Jozwiak Terrill, Barbara (Brad) Jozwiak Morrison, Tom (Joy) Jozwiak, Victoria Jozwiak, Robert Jozwiak, Laura (David) Mott, Rick (Mayumi) Joswick, and Marcia Joswick. She is also survived by her grand nieces and nephews Liam and Aidan Dooley, Conor and Meghan Lowery, Brian and Andrew Terrill, Stuart and Leah Mott, and Won Joo Joswick. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 3601 N. Lavergne Ave. Chicago, IL 60641. Interment will be held at a later date at Pere Marquette Cemetery in Ludington, Michigan.
