Muqian Huang

Muqian Huang of Hinsdale, formerly of Downers Grove passed away on September 26, 2021, with her family and friends by her side, after a brief illness. She was 73 years old. 

Muqian was born in China. She was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family and devoted her life to her child. She was highly skilled with sewing and knitting and proudly boasted about her daughter growing up having the best of clothes she made for her.

Muqian dedicated to learning and remained courage after she immigrated to United States. For about five years she commuted to Chicago on every weekday to study English. She finally passed citizenship test last year after three attempts. 

Muqian was kind and supportive. She made loyalty friends everywhere she went as she was always the first to offer help.

Muqian was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family.  She especially loved her role as Nana. She will be forever loved and forever remembered. 

Muqian was predeceased by her loving husband Jiazhi Li in 2013. Her family grieves her loss, but they take comfort knowing that Jiazhi and Muqian are together again. They are survived by their daughter Audrey, son-in-law Ken, and two grandchildren Claire and Clive.

A funeral service will be held on Friday October 1, 2021 at 2pm at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527.
