Merle B. "Smitty" Smith Jr. passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 from a fluke accident. He is the loving father of Chris (Tom) Cratin, Leslie Bloom, David (Anita)Smith and Michele (Jim) Meloy; Fond grandfather of seven, great grandfather of nine.

Celebration of Smitty’s life will be Thursday, June 22, 2023, 10:00 AM at the Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St. Willowbrook, IL 60527. Interment at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien IL
