Obituary

Melissa Daisley Wilson, 63, of Clarendon Hills, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023, at her home in Clarendon Hills. Missy was married to the love of her life "Will" for 14 years (together for 30). Their greatest passion was spending time together at their farm in Grovertown, IN where Missy enjoyed chopping down trees, planting flowers and riding her ATV. She graduated from Hinsdale Central High School in 1978 and later attended the University of Iowa. Missy worked at Xerox Corp for over 20 years. Missy's smile could brighten up any room. She was a beautiful, kind and loving soul and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her mother Roberta "Mickie" Daisley, sisters Lori (Greg) Adams and Nancy Daisley; nephews Eric (Julia) Adams and Kevin (Jane) Adams; great nephew Peter and great niece Claire. Melissa was preceded in death by her husband Wendell (Will) Wilson; her father David N. Daisley Sr; and her siblings David N. Daisley Jr. and Alison J. Daisley.  A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Grace Episcopal Church,120 E. First St. Hinsdale, IL 60521.
