MaryEllen Rose Shillington a 50-year resident of Hinsdale passed away on July 10, 2025, at Hinsdale Hospital. She was born on September 13, 1949, in Chicago, the daughter of Alexander Shillington and Rose Marsino. Beloved mother of the late Desiree Kathleen Johnson, Grandmother of the late Gavin Johnson. Life partner of James Panacchia, Jr. Sister of William (Dolores) Shillington and Tom (Janice) Shillington. She was an avid gardener. She was also an onsite liaison at falling waters in Burr Ridge. Chapel service will be held at Memory Gardens, 2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 on Thursday July 17, 2025, at 11am.
