Mary Louise Will (nee Brake), 96, of LaGrange Park passed away May 12th, after a long journey with Alzheimer's Disease. In her final chapter, Mary was very fortunate to be cared for each day by the kind and dedicated staff of Plymouth Place. Her family will be forever grateful to each of them.
Mary was fiercely devoted to her family, nothing mattered more. After raising her children, she returned to university, earned a master’s degree in Elementary Education, and pursued her vocation as a mathematics teacher to elementary and junior high students. Following that, Mary began a second career as a residential real estate agent, retiring at age 75. She never missed an opportunity to care for, teach and comfort her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her two children Dr. Robert Will (Lisa) and Rebecca Schuster (Stephen); her five beloved grandchildren Stephen Schuster (Katelyn), Michael Schuster (Macie Burget), Claire Schuster (Eric Wozniak), Madeline Sautter (Nicholas) and Allyson Will (Jason Lackhouse); five precious great grandchildren, Hudson, Lucca, Stella, Sienna and Rowan Schuster; a dear sister Dr. Sharon Summers of Olathe, Kansas and scores of nieces and nephews.
Mary is reunited in everlasting peace with her parents Mildred and Denzel Brake, and her siblings Gene Brake, Carol Fahl, Bill Brake, Barbara Randall and Robert Brake.
Services will be held later in Mary's hometown of Springfield, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s memory to Chicago Jesuit Academy. Your support can be sent to CJA, 5058 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago IL 60644, attention Cate O'Meara, or visit Ways to Give online at www.chicagojesuitacademy.org.
