Mary Barwig

Mary Barwig of Wheaton, passed away July 4th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born June 4, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois.  Mary was the beloved wife of the late Alvin; mother of Glenn (Monica) Barwig, Linda (Bob) Burkhardt, Karen (Larry)Spencer and the late Kenny; loving grandmother of Lauren (Zach)Smith, Bobby (Emily)Burkhardt, Emily (Alistair) Shaw, Jenny (Ryan)Black, Larry (Kathryn)Spencer, Sarah (fiancé Alex) Spencer, Julie (Christian) Swanson, John, and Ellen; loving great-grandmother of Hailey, Carson, Owen, Eliza, and David; loving sister of George Vesely. 

Mary will be remembered for her love of family and friends and her thoughtfulness shown to them.

A visitation will be held on Friday July 7th, 2023 from 10:00am till time of Memorial service 11:00am at the Hinsdale Covenant Church 412 S. Garfield St Hinsdale Il 60521. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Special Olympics or American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
