Marlene Hellwig

Marlene Pankow Hellwig, a longtime Hinsdale resident, died peacefully on November 2, 2024. She was married for 62 years to her college sweetheart, Albert Hellwig until his death in 2018. She was mother of Lynn (Dan Roller) and the late John. She was the devoted and loving grandma to Amy (Paul Thomas) and Julianne Roller, Jack (fiancée Grace Corrigan), Christy (Max) Fortin, Kelly (Troy) Volkel, and Howie Hellwig.  She was great grandmother of 3. 

A funeral mass, will be held on Monday, December 30, 5pm, at Old St. Patrick’s Church, 700 W Adams St. Chicago, IL 60661. Internment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Extension Society.
