Marianne L Fox

Marianne L. Fox, long time Hinsdale resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family June 19, 2023.  Marianne (Foxy) is the beloved wife of William and loving mother of Laura (Rick) Distler, Sue (Ron) Pircon, Colette (Chuck) Kaufmann, and Dan (Maia) Fox.  Grandmom of Nik (Jess) Distler, Zack Issleib, Maggie (Tim) Lydon, Maddie (Paul) Duncan, Jennifer (Dan) Foye, Eva (Mitch) Grant, Will (Caty) Fox, Michael (Aly) Pircon, Sarah (Justin) Pircon, Hannah (Trent) Kaufmann, Adam Pircon, Charlie Kaufmann and Rachel Distler.  Cherished great-grandmother of Landon, Harper, Harrison, Margot and Levi. 

Marianne was a person of deep faith and a devoted member of the Catholic Church. She dedicated most of her time to her parish, Saint Isaac Jogues in Hinsdale. She enjoyed spending time with friends practicing her faith, playing bridge and gardening.

Marianne was born in Chicago in 1938, raised in Beverly, attended Longwood Academy and DePaul University.  She met the love of her life Bill at a friend’s party and they were married in 1959 at Saint Barnabas Church. Her favorite time was spent with family in Lake Geneva, WI (1047), Stevensville, MI and Sister’s Lake MI.  She always had the best dance moves to Smiling Dave’s music at the Abbey Springs Yacht Club.

Above all else, Marianne’s legacy was her devotion to faith and family. She will be remembered for fun spirit, kindness, grace, and generosity to all who loved her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 9am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11am at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 306 W. Fourth Street, Hinsdale, IL  60521.  Interment will be private.
