Lorraine Kozak, age 100, a longtime resident of Hinsdale, passed away October 12, 2022, with her family by her side. Lorraine was born in Chicago on November 7, 1921, to Lillian and Edward Murphy. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph T. Kozak. Lorraine was a devoted mother to her two favorite sons Joseph (Waltraud) and Michael (Barbara), and her favorite daughter Linda (John) Nash. She is survived by her children, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Lorraine was an avid reader, knitter, cook and baker. She was famous, in her family, for her “Fudge Jumbles.” Always one to lend a hand, Lorraine, at age 98 was making masks during The Covid epidemic. A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, November 20th, 2022, from 2PM until the time of funeral service at 4PM at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 South Madison St. Willowbrook, IL 60527.
