Kristie R. (Rachford) Steadman

Kristie "AK" R. Steadman (nee Rachford) late of Brookfield, Il. passed away peacefully April 30, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late John and Marian (nee Nelson) Rachford, cherished sister of Marian, Betsy, John, and the late Virginia. She was loved by her brothers-in-law Richard, the late Bill, and her sister-in-law Rose. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Kristie was born on September 7, 1950, and grew up in Oak Lawn, Il. After graduating from Valparaiso University she went on to a career that brought many close friends. As Kristie has said, "I've lived a very interesting life."  Please direct any memorials to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.  Services and interment will be private.
