Joseph Bongiorno, Sr.

Joseph A. Bongiorno, Sr. is survived by his two sons, Joseph A. Bongiorno, Jr., (Carla), and Anthony P. Bongiorno (Tracy), his grandchildren, Emily (Bongiorno) Zerkel, (Nick), TJ Bongiorno (Ali), Dominic Bongiorno (Allie), Abby Bongiorno, Chloe Bongiorno, and his great-granddaughter, Posie Bongiorno. Joseph is preceded in death by his adoring wife, Carol, his parents, Joseph and Carmella Bongiorno, and his brothers, Louis “Sonny” and Salvatore “Sal” Bongiorno. He leaves behind his brothers, Frank and Anthony Bongiorno, and many nieces and nephews.
Joe passed away suddenly on December 31, 2025. His family was the center of his joy, and he is now home with Carol, the love of his life.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 4 PM – 8 PM with words of remembrance at 5:30PM, at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, located at 7000 South Madison Street, Willowbrook, IL 60527.
