John Sassone

John Sassone of LaGrange passed away on January 13, 2021, at LaGrange Memorial Hospital , surrounded by his loving family. John was born on August 17, 1930, in Chicago to Anthony and Frances Sassone. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Angeline. Beloved father of Mary (the late John) Caiafa. Cherished Grandfather of Giovanni and Athanasia “Tina” Katsigiannis. Dear brother of the late Venita (the late Angelo), the late James (the late Ann) Sassone, the late Jenny (the late Vito) Lepore, the late Marie (the late Ralph) Auriemma, the late Frances (late Vito) Piccirillo, the Late Rosie Sassone, the late Dolores (Lawrence) Russano and the late Philip Sassone. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 19th, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St. Willowbrook, IL 60527. Family and friends will meet for a 10am funeral mass on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 N Spring Ave, LaGrange, IL 60525.
