Jan Lechner

Jan Lechner, of Tinley Park, IL passed away on July 29, 2021, at Oak Trace in Downers Grove, IL. Jan was the loving mother of Ann (Robert) Miller, Tim (Isabelle) Lechner, Sara (Kevin) Taylor, and the late Phillip Lechner.  She was the cherished grandmother of Christopher (Cara) Volpe, Brooke, Miriam, and Martha Taylor, Leslie and Estelle Lechner.  A fond great-grandmother to Briella, and Alina Volpe.  Jan was a retired social worker spending many years working in family services. During her retirement, she enjoyed her book club, church activities, and time spent with her family.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 17100 69th Ave. Tinley Park, IL  60477.  In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Zion Lutheran Church for Community Dinner Fund.
