Herbert P. Schwieger

Herbert P. Schwieger, of Westmont, a former longtime resident of Hinsdale, passed away on June 13, 2022.  Former husband of the late Joyce, nee Handy; Loving father of William and Donald (Sharon) Schwieger; dear grandfather of four and great-grandfather of six; Loving brother of Carol Luther, the late George, Carl, and Robert Schwieger. Herb was born in Hinsdale and was a graduate of Hinsdale High School.  Herb was a Hinsdale mail carrier for 31 years.  Visitation will be held Friday, June 17th, 3-8 pm at Adolf Funeral Home 7000 S. Madison St. Willowbrook, IL. Family and friends will meet Saturday, June 18th at Bethel Lutheran Church 36 N. Grant St. Westmont, IL for a 10:00 am funeral Service, Interment will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Oak Brook, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Bethel Early Learning Center, C/O Bethel Lutheran Church.
