Gwendolyn M. Stoldt

Gwendolyn M. Stoldt, 95, a lifelong resident of Hinsdale died August 14,2022.  She was born on May 7, 1927, in Hinsdale to LaVern and Thelma Rodesiler.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband LeRoy Stoldt. Gwendolyn is survived by her brother Jack (Evelyn) Rodesiler, dear children Phillip (Karen) Goers and Mary (William) Myers, step-children Mark (Cathy) Stoldt and David Stoldt; grandchildren Christian (Nicole) Goers, Sarah (Kyle) Johnson, Kimberly (Matthew) Boyer and Jenna Myers; step-grandchildren Conner (Elena) Stoldt, Emerson Stoldt, and Camerin Stoldt; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Gwendolyn was baptized at the Union Church of Hinsdale, and a very active member there her entire life.   Gwen valued her friends that she had known for decades.  She loved to garden, play scrabble, color, music and travel but she found her greatest joy by being involved in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives.  A memorial service will be held at the Union Church of Hinsdale 137 S. Garfield Ave. Hinsdale Saturday September 17th, 2022, at 11:00Am; a private burial was held at The Naperville Cemetery.
