Gloria Patricia Fahle

Gloria Patricia Fahle (nee Kleinhen), 90, passed away October 29, 2025, at Brookdale Senior Living Center in Lisle, IL.  Gloria is preceded in death by first husband Arnold F. Berg (married 16 years), second husband Robert O. Wallin (married 18 years) and third husband Raymond H. Fahle (married 23 years).  She is also preceded in death by her sister Sylvia Berg and step-granddaughter Michelle Fahle.

She is survived by her sons Arnold F. Berg (Lois) and Stephen M. Berg (Debbie).  She is also survived by stepsons Mark Wallin (Barb), Donald Wallin (Carol) and Gary Wallin (Cindy), Mike Fahle (Lori) and Jeff Fahle (Judy). 

Proud grandmother to Allison Pams (Tony), Alex Berg (Erica), Adam Berg, Ryan Berg, Kyle Berg, and Ashley Berg. Also proud step-grandmother to Christopher Wallin, Eric Wallin (Marcie), Carlie Storms (Josh), Kelly Fahle and Tim Fahle.

Devout great-grandmother to Palmer Berg and step-great-grandmother to Kaelyn, Evelyn and Niklas Wallin.  

Gloria was born on December 3, 1934, to the late Frederick and Ida Kleinhen.  She was a devout Christian and very involved in church communities. She played the organ at Bethany Lutheran Church in Naperville, IL, sang in the choir at Zion Lutheran Church in Hinsdale, and was an LWML member at Peace Lutheran Church in Plainfield and Zion Hinsdale.  After high school graduation in 1952, Gloria worked as a dental receptionist for Dr. Henning in Naperville.  She then worked as a dedicated homemaker raising her sons and later as a secretary at Zion Lutheran School.

She will be remembered for her love of gardening, reading, traveling, and hosting parties. She had a passion for animals and cared for many pets throughout her life. 

Visitation will be at 8:30am on Saturday, November 8 prior to the funeral service at 10:00am at Zion Lutheran Church, 204 South Grant Street, Hinsdale, IL.  Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery located at 1209 Warrenville Road, Wheaton, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
