Dorothy (Ann) Klocko of Hinsdale, IL passed away on June 16, 2026. Dorothy was born to George & Ottilia Lehner on May 27, 1930. She was a life-long resident of Hinsdale, and a life-long parishioner of St. Isaac Jogues Church. She was a devoted wife, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was in one of the very first graduating classes of St. Isaac Jogues School in 1944, and graduated from Nazareth High School in LaGrange in 1948. She traveled, worked, danced in a German dance troupe, and took care of her two ailing parents until she married Robert Klocko in February of 1962.
Dorothy was always a strong woman, but most importantly she was strong in her faith in Jesus Christ who strengthened and guided her through the toughest times of her life. These were the losses of both parents at young ages, and the sudden loss of her beloved Bob 42 years ago in 1984. Through it all, she held never wavered in her faith, and you rarely ever heard her complain.
As a life-long parishioner of St. Isaac’s, she devoted herself to attending, serving and giving to the church into her early 90’s! She loved travel and had gone on many trips with family and friends. Up until several years ago, for years she attended weekly breakfasts with her closest friends from High School! She loved and valued her family and friends deeply and was always generous with her time and resources to anyone who needed them. She was honest, loyal, faithful, wise, fun and had a great sense of humor. She was the definition of
“good and faithful servant” and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents George & Ottilia, her husband Robert Klocko, and two brothers and sisters-in-law George & Marguerite Lehner & Robert & Jeannette Lehner.
Dorothy is survived by her sons Steve (Monica) and Jim (Kristin), grandchildren Ian, Devin, Kellie, Mitchell, Chase and Paige, great-granddaughter Heaven, step-grandchildren Colin (Laura), Ryan (Giselle), & Shane Keogh, and step-great-grandchildren Kennedy, Kolton, Kinsley & Cooper, and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 19, from 4pm until 8pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook, IL. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, June 20, at 10am at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 4th and Clay St, Hinsdale, IL. A grave site ceremony will be held immediately afterwards at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
