Donald W. Riehm of Darien, Illinois was taken home by God peacefully in his sleep. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Catherine Riehm (nee Loutos). Don was a loving father of Donald W. (Debbie) Riehm, Jr., Roger (Laurie) Riehm, Deborah (Doug) Domeracki and Lisa Schomer. Dear grandfather of Matthew, Sarah (Gabe Pattison) and Nathan Riehm; Ryan (Amanda) Domeracki and Peter (Ania) Domeracki; Michelle, Megan (Matt), Margeaux, and Madalyn Riehm; Jake and Tarah Schomer. Great-grandfather of eleven. Loving brother to George (Barbara), Arnold (the late Carolyn) and Carlton. All of his siblings predeceased him. Wonderful brother-in-law of the late Peter Loutos (the late Joan), the late William (Joan) Loutos, the late Patricia Robinson, Angie (Robert) Paladino, Genevieve LaMantia (the late John) Helen Jakubosky (the late Jim) and Betty (Bud) Skelton. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church, 204 S. Grant Street, Hinsdale, IL from 10:30am until the time of funeral service at 12. Interment to follow at Zion Cemetery, Oak Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Zion Lutheran Cemetery, c/o Zion Lutheran Church.
