Deborah Jean Jones

In remembrance of Deborah Jean Jones, born into eternity on September 18, 2020. She was born in Chicago on November 7, 1957 to the late Leon Smith and Dorothy Sanders. Dear mother of Charles B. Jones and Dyan D. Reed. Cherished grandmother of Marchello Adams, Robyn Cowan and Chaniel Jones. Beloved sister of Diane (Troy)Lewis, Dorothy Kirkwood, Cassandra Lane, Victor (Glenda)Jones and Nichole Russell. Special aunt of Samuel (Christina) Kirkwood and Kearia Coleman. Loving aunt of Jasmine, Jae Jones, Spencer Lane, Victor Jones, Jr. Stephen Jones, Jordan, Jasmine and Paris Kirkwood. Deborah was a wonderful host to many relatives and family. She was preceded in death by her children Veronica Jones in 1976 and Diedre Hicks in 1988. She attended Sumner and Delano, Grammar Schools, later she obtained an Associate Degrees in Psychology from Harold Washington College. Deborah entered the U S Air Force in 1980 as a Law Enforcement Specialist (MP) and was honored with an Air Force Ribbon Award.

On behalf of your siblings we salute you as our Crown Jewel.  You brought sunshine and joy into our lives.  Your laughter was contagious and your personality hilarious and genuine. 

OUR PRECIOUS SISTER FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT AND NOW YOU HAVE FINISHED YOUR COURSE.  KNOW THAT YOU WERE LOVED.   WE WILL MEET AGAIN WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
