It is with profound sadness that the family of Christopher Robert Katsis announce his passing away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 31. Chris was a loyal friend, had a huge heart and a great sense of humor. Chris loved to joke and make people laugh, especially his mom. His greatest accomplishment was his son, Mason Robert. Chris loved Mason with his whole heart and soul. His favorite things to do with Mason were going to parks and forest preserves and swimming. Chris loved the White Sox and the Packers. He loved vacationing in the Wisconsin Northwoods.
Christopher is survived by his son, Mason Robert (Giana Kerekes), his mother and father, Laura and Keith, siblings, Sara, Ryan and Megan, and family dogs, Murphy, Eddie and Bella. He will also be greatly missed by his grandmothers, Diane Treend and Mary Katsis, grandfather, Roger Treend, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was beloved by everyone that met him, a loving father, grandson, son and brother and a great friend to many.
Christopher is preceded in death by his Godfather, Steve Eggert, his loving Nonny, Dorothy LaMon, grandfather, John Katsis, Sr., and uncle, Kevin G. Katsis.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 3pm to 8pm at Adolf and Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St. Willowbrook, IL 60527. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, September 21, 2023 for a 10am funeral mass at St Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 4th and Clay Streets, Hinsdale, IL 60521.
