Carolyn Genevieve Tweedie

Carolyn Genevieve Tweedie, 85 years young, a long-time resident of Hinsdale, IL. Carolyn was born in 1938 in Chicago.  Carolyn married David Tweedie in 1974 in Hometown, IL.

Carolyn and David had two sons Brett (Ashli), and Bart Tweedie.

Loving grandma to Henry, Layne, Jackson, Leila, and Margot.

Carolyn was very kind and loving person, always willing to help those in need.  This led her to volunteering to help her community. She was very giving of her time to a several area organizations including AYSO, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Hinsdale Caucus.  Carolyn was awarded the Silver Beaver award from the Boy Scouts of America council for her hard work, dedication, and many years of service.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 16, 2024 from 9am until time of funeral service 11am at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527. Interment will follow at Fairmont Willow Hills Cemetery.
