Ben Morales

It is with great sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Ben Morales, who died in a car accident on August 15, 2025. Ben was 23 years old.

Born to Samuel Morales and Susan Sharp-Gobey, Ben is survived by his loving parents, his stepmother Zulma Morales, and his stepfather Kieran Gobey. He will be deeply missed by his younger brother Liam Morales, along with countless friends and family members who were fortunate to know him.

After graduating from Lyons Township High School in 2020 Ben followed in his father's footsteps, working as a heavy equipment mechanic at his family’s business, Mayatrack and Equipment. His work ethic and passion for machinery were only surpassed by his love for life and the people in it.

Ben's hobbies were as unique and vibrant as he was. He had a special place in his heart for his cats and loved spending time with them. He was a passionate video game player, a lover of anything to do with motors, and always sought ways to have fun with those around him. Whether it was cracking jokes, sharing a laugh, or just being a rock for his friends and family, Ben’s quirky sense of humor and fun-loving demeanor made him the heart of every room he entered.

Ben will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his work and his family. His bright spirit and kind nature will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. His family takes comfort in knowing that Ben's legacy will live on through the memories of his joy, his humor, and his remarkable presence in their lives.

A celebration of Ben’s life will be held on August 24 2025 from 1:00 to 7:00 PM at Adolf and Powell Funeral Home 7000 South Madison Street Willowbrook, IL 60527. 

Ben’s spirit will be deeply missed, but he will never be forgotten.
