Arthur J Vavra passed away on May 16, 2020. He was born on February 1, 1939 to Joseph and Elizabeth Horton in Learned, Mississippi. Beloved husband of Shirley Vavra, Loving dad of Eric Vavra, Michael Gayton, Gibion Young, Danielle Horton, Shayntwana Horton, Cassius Horton and Lisa Cunningham. He is survived by his siblings Joanna Eaton and Thelma Louise McGregor. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings Annie B Allen, Mary Lee Cotton, Anthony Lewis Horton, Charles Percy Horton, and Clarence Jr. Private family interment will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
