Aditya Pondicherry

Aditya Pondicherry passed away on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 at his home. 

Aditya was born on February 8, 2003, in Hyderabad, India. Aditya spent most of his childhood in India where he enjoyed life with his family, grandparents and all of his animals.  Aditya moved with his family to Minnesota in 8th grade and became fond of playing the tuba and pursued his interest in classical music. In high school, Aditya moved to Willowbrook where he attended District 86 and College of DuPage. While at College of DuPage, he demonstrated his affinity for learning through a range of classes from psychology to auto mechanics with ultimately looking at pursuing a career in the Medical Field or Engineering. Aditya possessed a wealth of knowledge ranging from classical music to religion and philosophy.  Aditya had a variety of hobbies--most famous for how fast he could solve a rubix cube--as well as his passions for origami, music, tennis and art.

In his short life, Aditya was aware of the importance of making people feel good.  He was an excellent listener, insightful, compassionate and possessed a wonderful sense of humor.  He demonstrated interest in every person he met and had a special bond with his parents.  Aditya also found value in helping others and volunteered at the Chicago Greater Food Depository.  Aditya understood the importance of helping others and truly wanting to make the world a better place for each person he came in contact with.  

Aditya is survived by his parents, Manjula and Raj. A visitation and service will be held at  Damar Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, IL (7861 88th Avenue) on Thursday, December 22nd. 

Visitation will be at 10:00and services will begin shortly after.  Following the service, family and close friends are invited to attend the cremation.
