Mary Lynne Buffardi

Mary Lynne Buffardi, nee Dempsey, beloved wife of James S. Buffardi, passed peacefully at home on December 31, 2017 at the age of 72. Devoted daughter of the late Charles Donald and Dorothy Dempsey. Dear sister of Donald (Mayako) Dempsey, Diane (Al) Dennen, Karen (Don) Knapp and the late Greg Dempsey. Loving mother of Tracey (Jeff) O’Connor and Todd (Betsy) Preston. Loving stepmother to Louis (Jennifer) Buffardi and Janet Montefusco.  Proud grandmother to Alexandra, Peter, Patrick, Alexa, Emily, Danielle, James and Cecelia.  Proud great grandmother to Parker. Dear sister-in-law to Louis (Claire) Buffardi, Carmellyn Panzarella and Donna (Tom) Hornsby.  She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation Friday, January 5 from 4pm-9pm at Adolf Funeral Home,7000 S. Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527.  Family and friends will meet Saturday, January 6 at 10:30am for a funeral mass at Notre Dame Parish, 64 Norfolk Ave., Clarendon Hills, IL  60514.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) are appreciated.
