Dear Jim and family,

We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Lynne and unfortunately we could not make the visitation or the mass. Wendy and I both have fond memories of her from Western Candy Conference, CPCC and NCA events. She was a wonderful woman and the love that you shared was evident to anyone who shared the room. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Tracey and Todd, I remember selling Avon to your mom she loved the Skin So Soft lotion , I would deliver the Avon to her house in Oakbrook and it would give us time to catch up and talk about how things were and how much we both enjoyed Florida . It has been many years since I have seen her and face book was great for us to reconnect . She was and will always be a beautiful special women to everyone that knew her. I am thinking about you and your family. Debbie Teresi

Dear Jim and family, we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved wife Lynne. Both Julie and I have many fond memories of her, whether it was at an ACCT meeting in Callaway Gardens, a CPCC Christmas celebration at Mark Puch's country club, or an industry Christmas party at Café La Cave. She was always kind and loving, and relationship she and you enjoyed was a perfect example of a wonderful marriage.

My Eulogy:
I am honored to celebrate the life of the special person that Todd and I were lucky enough to call our Mom. She loved us wholeheartedly and there was never a day that went by that she did not let us know that.

It is amazing that there was enough love left over for all of you, especially “Buff”. I have to say, when Jim entered our lives, our family of 3 was a little broken. My parents were recently divorced and we were all trying to pick up some pieces. The sun began to rise and I cannot tell you how much we grew to love that man. To me, their relationship resembled a fairytale, the princess met her prince. My mom was swept off her feet. Every time you would have any conversation with her, it was always about Jim. Sometimes I would have to remind her that she already told me that story. My mom and Jim had a beautiful relationship that grew and created the foundation that exists today. They set a great example for us kids of a loving relationship and how important family is which will extend through their grandchildren. I know they are proud.

My mom adored her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. If you were one of them, your nickname was either Punky do, My Guy, My Fella, Miss Em or my favorite…Love Bug.

I am not sure if you knew that my Mom had a career, she had her masters in cleaning. Her favorite product was Pine Sol. Nothing was clean unless you mixed Pine Sol and Top Job together. Have you ever smelled that? I will never forget coming home from school and walking up to the front door smelling it before you even got into the house. I was reading this to my friend Sally earlier this week and she reminded me of my mom’s Rainbow Vacuum. Anyone remember that thing? It was a canister style vacuum where you put water in the bottom reservoir. Guess what she put in that water? Yes, Pine Sol and Top Job. Once you got done vacuuming our turquoise shag carpeting, you had a nice combination of water, dust, and carpet fibers that smelled like Pine sol and Top Job.

I will never forget going to Florida with my mom and Jim. The day we got there, she started to clean. Now, my mom did not just pull out the pledge to dust and vacuum. She tore apart closets, emptied out cabinets and wiped everything down. One trip when they had the condo, she decided her project was going to be the kitchen. She had the whole kitchen torn apart, cleaning products all over the counters, bucket of pine sol and top job on the counter from the previous day because she would clean for ½ day and then lay by the pool in the afternoon so the process lasted the whole week. I remember finally on Day 5, Jim getting up to go make a cup of coffee, once again, making his way through the mess and finally said “Can you please clean this up?” I do have to say, when we left to go home, that condo was immaculate until the next visit.

Sometimes I wonder if my Mom should have been a doctor or a nurse because she had a cure for everything. If you called her and told her you had a cold, she gave you a whole regimen of what to do so it did not get any worse. Oh, and she was very particular about her laundry. I am actually surprised that she did not wash everything piece by piece based on her different procedures for each type of clothing. Towels and sheets had to be pre-soaked, washed, rinsed and run through another rinse with the fabric softener.

My Mom was a great friend. Sometimes I wonder if she should have been a psychologist. She had a knack of making people feel better if something was troubling them. She wore her heart on her sleeve. She was so grateful for the family and love that she had and if she met someone that was not as fortunate, they were instantly included in ours.

My mom touched so many people and has left a lasting impression on all of us. My heart breaks when I think of how hard she fought to recover from her last surgery. I am so proud of how sweet she remained despite of her situation. She was one tough cookie. I want to thank her caregivers, especially Devon and Lola who took such good care of her. She loved the pampering and said she was getting spoiled. As hard as it is to lose her, I am so glad she is at peace. She loved her house and she was home, where she wanted to be. My mom left Todd and I with great back up, our 2 aunts Ki Ki and Di Di. Their love and support is priceless. Sadly for us, she leaves this life along with her brother Greg. However, they will make the journey to heaven together. That is going to be some welcome party!

Lastly, I want to thank you Jim for making my mom happy. With everything she went through, she never complained. She was very fortunate for the life she had and was the first to admit it. You unselfishly took such good care of her and for that, Todd and I will be forever grateful.
