Marlin E. Schnelle, 89, Yorkville, IL formerly of Aurora passed away on Friday June 1, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born July 27, 1928 in Terril, IA. Immediately after graduation he enlisted in the US Navy stationed on the USS Bolster as a Motor Machinist's mate third class. After the Navy he moved to Aurora, IL and worked at All-Steel Equipment Inc. for 30 years till his retirement. He was a member of the Fourth Street United Methodist Church and a past member of the Aurora Moose Lodge 400. He is survived by his children, Dan (Rebekah) Schnelle, of Terril, IA, Terry (Rick) Groesch, of Yorkville, IL and Brian (Heather) Schnelle, of St. Charles, MO, 4 grand children Armin, Nathan, Nick and Noah Schnelle. He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother Ed and Amy Schnelle and his sister Karen Range.
A memorial Service is Scheduled at the Fourth Street United Methodist Church 551 S. Fourth Street Aurora, IL on Wednesday June 27, 2018 Visitation will be at 3:00 pm and a Funeral Service at 4:00 pm with Rev. Deborah Tinsley Taylor officiating.
