Clytee Murray

Clytee Murray was born July 10, 1936 to Grady Lipkin Sr., and Cora V. Lipkin in Gholson MS. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age at First Running Water Missionary Baptist Church in Shuqualak, Ms. She married Clyde Murray in 1952, who preceded her in death.  Of that union 5 children were born, Ronald, Joanne, Donald, Elaine, and Kenneth.  Clytee again found love with Joseph Weathersby and from that union 1 child was born, Terrell Weathersby.  Preceding Clytee in death were her parents Grady Lipkin Sr. and Cora V. Lipkin; brothers Arthur and Joe Lipkin; sister Gladys Hester; son Donald Murray; and great grandson Kameron Murray.  Clytee was an accomplished chef for over 50 years before she retired in 1998. 

Clytee leaves to cherish in her memory Ronald (Evelyn) Murray of Shuqualak MS., Joanne (Stearling) Williams of Bolingbrook Il., Savannah Murray of Chicago, II, Elaine Murray of Chicago II, Kenneth (Tina) Murray of Bolingbrook Il., and Terrell (Shonna) Weathersby of Phoenix Az., as well as 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday August, 14th at 10AM until time of funeral service at 11AM at Living Water Community Church, 190 Lily Cache Lane, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Interment will follow at Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
