Caroline R. Cornell (nee Donley), age 93, died April 18, 2018 at her home in Bethlehem Woods in LaGrange Park. Caroline was a lifelong resident of Herrin, IL. before moving to Washington Square in Hinsdale She was a member of Herrin Woman's’ Club, Beta Sigma Phi, and the First Christian Church of Herrin. Beloved wife of the late Horace E. Cornell, Jr., Loving mother of Dawn (Carson) Cornell Yeager and the late Karen Rose Ann Russell. Fond grandmother of Caroline Russell Sanders, Elizabeth Caroline Yeager, Caroline Cornell Yeager and Great Grandmother of:Savannah Karen Sanders and Landon Sanders. Private family interment will be held at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy, IL.
