Karen Buddig Noble, 70, passed away on Tuesday, February 20th, at her residence in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was surrounded by her family and siblings. Born Karen Ann Buddig on August 21, 1953, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary Buddig. She is the sister of Tom (Alexis), Robert (Mary), Tim (Felicity), and Roger (Barbara) Buddig, along with her 12 nieces and nephews. Karen is survived by her husband of 31 years, Michael Noble, and her loving son, Carl Noble.
Karen grew up in the Beverly area of Chicago, Illinois, and the suburb of Palos Park, IL, where she attended Carl Sandburg High School and graduated from the University of Denver.
Dedicating over three decades of her career to her family business, Carl Buddig and Company, Karen served as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and as a Member of the Board of Directors. Her unwavering dedication, warmth, and guidance touched many lives within the company, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and compassion that will be remembered by all who had the privilege to work alongside her.
Karen cherished her family and countless friends. Whether hosting her annual Kentucky Derby party, holiday events, spending time at her cottage on Indian Lake in Michigan, or skiing in Utah, Karen's welcoming nature was contagious.
A Celebration of her life will be held at: The DoubleTree by Hilton, 5000 West 127th Street, Alsip, IL 60803 on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
