John Richard “Dick” Barstad, age 76; Born in Duluth, Minnesota, long time resident of Carol Stream; Beloved husband of the late Donna, Loving father of John Robert (Laurie Cunningham) and Danielle (Chris) Messer; Grandfather of Alex, Chloe, Parker and Forest; Brother of  Mary Barstad (Marilyn Maloney) and Peggy (the late Denny) Anderson;  Uncle of Tonia, Todd, Rob, Bridget; Brother in law of Barb Gerlich and Laura Long;  Family services and interment will be private.  Memorials appreciated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, www.lls.org.
