Helen R. Sullivan

Helen R. Sullivan, a 61-year resident of Hinsdale, passed away on Tuesday, May 2 with her family by her side;  Helen was an outstanding interior decorator, an avid tennis player and fan, a former Hinsdale realtor and a supporter of the Chicago Art Institute and Museum of Contemporary Art. In addition, she was a founder of the Preview Party for the Hinsdale Antique Show and Sale. Recently Helen was recognized for her 23 years of membership in the Garden Study Club of Hinsdale. Loved by many for her sense of humor and love of chocolate, Helen held a B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois. Loving mother of Janet ”Jan” Sullivan (Sandy) Stein, Doug Sullivan and the late Bill Sullivan; grandmother of Cooper and Skylar Sullivan; sister of Bill (Betty) Young; aunt of John, Steve and Bill Young. Special friend of Pam Butler and Kevin Baab and her many friends at Grace Episcopal Church. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 26, 3pm at Grace Episcopal Church, 120 E.
