Harry W. Johnson

Harry Johnson, age 101, born on February 15, 1916 in Western Springs, IL. Harry passed away on September 8, 2017 at Park Pointe Healthcare Center, Morris, IL.    Beloved husband of the late Edna nee Lubbring. Loving brother of the late Eleanor Johnson-Zitzka, George Johnson, Emery Johnson, Earl Johnson, Florence Johnson, Helen Johnson and Ernest Johnson; dear uncle of Harry (Charlotte) Zitzka, Eleanor (the late Clifford) Zitzka- Siemer, Robert, Thomas, and Gary Johnson, the late Carl, George, Edward and Richard Zitzka; great uncle of Janet Zitzka-Knutson, Wayne Zitzka, Ken Zitzka, Karen Siemer-Granger, Gail Siemer-Mesch, Lynn Siemer-Montemayor, Robert Siemer, Susan Zitzka-Pletsch, Greg Zitzka, Rick Zitzka, Michael Zitzka, Deanne Zitzka-Rizleris, Tom Zitzka, Becky Johnson-Brown, Brian Johnson, Alex Johnson and Lisa Lacher; great, great uncle of thirty-four and great, great, great uncle of twenty.  Harry was a navy veteran of the European Theater of Operations and the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II.  He was proud to be selected as a Honor Flight participant to Washington, D.C.   Memorial service will be held Tuesday September 19th 10:30AM at Grace Lutheran Church 4101 Wolf Rd Western Springs IL 60558
